Lucille Beccue, 93, of Altamont, passed away at 10:55 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont with Rev. Marcus Manley officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, November 9, 2026 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lutheran Care Center or donor’s choice.
Lucille Eleanor (Duckwitz) Beccue was born August 12, 1933 in Altamont, IL to Martin and Edna (Milleville) Duckwitz. She married Harold Beccue on November 10, 1956 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont, IL. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2002. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and Mill Road Thresherman Association. She enjoyed genealogy, volunteering and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In her passing she leaves behind daughters, Debra Thompson of Galesburg, IL, Diane (Dave) Merchant of Rochester, IL and Karen (Robert) Hammer of Altamont, IL, grandchildren, Dana (Jeremy) Eisenhauer, Kyle Merchant, Kaci (Keifer) Camp and Emily (Sam) Mette, great-grandchildren, Parklynn, Mila, Blakeleigh, Wyatt and Jordyn, sister, Irene Brandt, sister-in-law, Freda Beccue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Jeanette (Edward) Brown and In-laws, Ronald Brandt, Clarence (Arvilla) Beccue, Albert (Hilma) Schroeder, Melvin Beccue.
