The official kickoff to Christmas in Vandalia is just over a week away, but one event will start to get the holiday spirit going as the Olde Tyme Christmas Festival of Trees will be held on Friday night at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Vandalia Tourism Director Amber Daulbaugh says the theme for Olde Tyme Christmas this year is “Stars, Stripes and Holiday Lights” and there are still tickets available for the Festival of Trees event, either at the door or they can be purchased online before the event.
And Daulbaugh says the night will feature plenty to get people in the festive mood.
Information and updates on all Olde Tyme Christmas events can be found on the Olde Tyme Christmas Facebook page.
