A 36 year old man is facing 3 charges, including 1 Felony count, in Fayette County Court.
36 year old Lonzo W. McMahon is facing charges of Aggravated Battery, which is a Class 3 Felony. Information on the charge says that McMahon is alleged to have knowingly caused great bodily harm to the alleged victim, in McMahon is alleged to have struck and headbutted the alleged victim in the face–causing injuries such as a broken nose and teeth. McMahon also faces charges of Battery (Class A Misdemeanor) for those injuries to the alleged victim. McMahon is also facing a charge of Assault (Class C Misdemeanor) for allegedly threatening another alleged victim saying he would discharge a shotgun.
McMahon appeared in Fayette County Court on Monday. And the court granted the state’s motion to deny pre-trial release. The court finds proof is evident that McMahon committed alleged Felony. And, information also says that McMahon committed the offense while on community based supervision for another offense. So, McMahon will remain in the Fayette County Jail. He is next scheduled for an appearance with counsel on November 10th at 9 am.
