The Vandalia Lake has dealt with a new issue at the Marina.
During Monday night’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Lake Manager Scott Workman reported the Lake Marina was broken into sometime this past Thursday night/Friday morning. He says there was about $200 in theft but he said more than that in damages and he was awaiting an estimate on the actual cost for repairs. Workman says they will be working to get prices on surveillance cameras after the repairs are made.
Workman also added the Vandalia Lake Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 30th and the Lake Campground will be closing on November 1st.
