Wilma Irene Richards, 89, of Shobonier, passed away on October 11, 2026 at her home.

Wilma Irene Lofland was born July 21, 1937 in Gary, IN, the daughter of Glen Lofland and Ruth (Williams) Lofland-Neeley. She married Harold Richards on September 9, 1953; together they shared 48 years of marriage before his passing on August 22, 2001. She later married George Richards on March 20, 2011, he preceded in her death on February 6, 2017.
She is survived by children, Susie (Mike) Collier of Shobonier, Lora Richards of Shobonier, Michael (Jennifer) Richards of Vandalia, Jackie Richards of Shobonier; grandchildren, Jeff Elder, Heather Smith, Jessica Eckhardt, George Campbell, Logan Richards, Michael Holman, Matthew Richards, Kenny Pryor, Breanna Richards; 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold and George Richards; infant son, David Richards; son, Harold “Bud” Richards Jr.; siblings, Shirley Potter, Donna Webber, Janet Smith, Jeanne Lofland, John Lofland; grandson, Chad Collier and Travis Collier.
