
They will wrap up the Vandalia Farmer’s Markets for this season as the final one for 2026 will be on Saturday (tomorrow).
The them for the final American 250 Farmer’s Market is “A Harvest 250 years in the Making: Rooted in History. Grown in Community.”
Among the features for this final Farmer’s Market of the season will include the Fayette County 4-H holding a nature-inspired Seed Mosaic activity, where kids will create pumpkins and ghosts using beans and other materials. At 10 am there will be pumpkin decorating for the kids and the Vandalia School District band programs will have a live performance during the market from 10 am to 11 am. And, Soroptimist International of Vandalia will have their popular scarecrows for sale.
The final Vandalia Farmer’s Market of the season will be from 8 am to 12 pm on 5th Street next to Vandalia City Hall.
