We will remain sunny and warm for the next few days, then we have some rain in the forecast this weekend.
We are looking at sunny skies today with a high of 84 and then mostly clear skies tonight with a low of 53.
That will pretty much be our weather for both Friday and Saturday, as well.
Meanwhile, showers are then likely on Saturday night and a chance of showers will stay with us on Sunday morning. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says warm and dry conditions persist through Saturday. Temperatures Friday may reach near daily record highs, but low humidity will limit heat impacts. Rain chances are slowly increasing in southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois Saturday night and Sunday, but this depends on the uncertain track of remnants of Hurricane Isaias.
