With us now moving into October, the Vandalia Lion’s Club Halloween Parade is all set.
The 84th annual Vandalia Lion’s Club Halloween Parade will be on Thursday, October 29th at 7 pm in downtown Vandalia. The theme for this year’s parade will be either “The Lord of the Rings” or “Harry Potter.” Lion Ardith McFarland will serve as the Grand Marshall for the parade this year.
Those participating in the parade will again be encouraged to hand out the candy or take the candy to the curb and drop it if they wish. Registration for the parade will begin at 5 pm at the former Washington School.
Meanwhile, the Awards Night for the Halloween Parade will then be held on Monday, November 2nd at 5 pm at Evans Public Library.
