The NWS in St. Louis says this was the record warmest September on record at 78.4 degrees, breaking the old record of 77.8 degrees in 2019. We had 4 days with a low temperature of 80 degrees or better, which was a new record. We had 3 straight record high days from September 17th through 19th and 6 record warm low days during the month–including September 2nd through 5th, September 17th and September 19th.
