(Chicago, IL) — Governor Pritzker is awarding four-point-six-million-dollars in grant funding to 49 grantees to boost tourism across Illinois. Pritzker announced that the awards include two-million-dollars to support projects along Route 66, two-million-dollars to market destinations and attractions across the state, and 654-thousand-dollars to promote Illinois internationally. The announcement comes after Illinois broke records last year for tourism revenue.
