(Peoria Co., IL) — Charges are pending after a woman and her toddler son were killed in a domestic incident in Peoria County. Authorities say deputies were called out Friday morning to a vehicle fire in the 35-hundred block of Yorkshire. The vehicle was linked to a nearby home, where they found Heaven Wood shot to death inside. Her son, two-year-old KJ Duncan-Wood, was discovered dead inside the burning vehicle. Investigators determined that Jeremiah Duncan was a suspect. He was later arrested near Molleck Drive and Oak Crest Drive. An investigation is ongoing.
