The heat and humidity will continue over the area today and this weekend. But, some relief looks to be on the way next week.
Today we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, but we’ll otherwise see mostly sunny skies with a high of 92 and heat index values as high as 101. Then, a chance of shower and storms tonight with a low of 69.
Saturday and Sunday will be hot with a high in the lower 90’s on both days. But, it looks like some relief will be on the way next week. Rain will be in the forecast for Sunday night and Monday with a high Monday at 80. Then high’s in the lower to middle 70’s on Tuesday through Thursday of next week.
