This now-late September heat wave will continue with really no end in sight.
We are looking at sunny skies today with a high of 97. Heat index values as high as 103 for today. Then, partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 71.
Friday will be a little cooler, but not much. We do have a chance of showers and storms late in the afternoon on Friday, but we’ll otherwise see sunny skies with a high of 93 and heat index values as high as 100 on Friday.
Meanwhile, the heat will stay with us into the weekend. We’ll see a high in the mid-90’s on Saturday and back into the 90’s again on Sunday.
