We will be sunny and mild today, but it will be our last such day for the week.
We will see sunny skies today and a high of 85. Then, mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 67.
Then, the summertime heat and humidity makes at least one more return to the area. Tuesday we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day, but we’ll otherwise see sunny skies with a high of 97 and heat index values as high as 103. Showers and storms are likely on Tuesday night–we could see a strong to severe storm with strong winds being our biggest issue, with a low of 70.
Meanwhile, Wednesday and Thursday will both see highs in the mid-90’s with a high then in the lower 90’s on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, there is some chance that we could finally begin to drift into fall weather soon. Some longer term weather models are showing our high temperatures being in the lower 70’s just one week from today.
