During Wednesday’s monthly Saint Elmo City Council meeting, the Council approved the purchase of the building of attorney Richard Day’s office at 413 N Main Street, located next to City Hall, for $35,000. After the meeting, Saint Elmo Mayor Kim Baron discussed the reasons for purchasing the building.
And Mayor Baron said they are still working out a few details before being able to host meetings in the building.
Other items the council approved were having Trick or Treat on Saturday, October 31st, from 6-8 PM, an agreement not to renew the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement for Police Services with the Village of Ramsey, and the appointment of Rick Mills as Local Election Officer.
