William Wiley White, age 69, of Vandalia, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon, IL.
William was born August 26, 1956 the son of George Noel White and Sara Louise (Copeland) White in Heidelberg.
He is survived by his children; Jessica White, Travis White, Ashley Martinez-Olson, Sara White, Naomi Iliff (White), Lauren Halloway, Sissy Wilson, Violet White, and Phil Halloway, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his siblings; George (Flo) White Jr., Melody (Rick) Brown, Edna (Richie) Galvin, Stacey (Ron) Hyder, Patti (Fred) Talbott, Sandra (Jim) Pritts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings; Malcolm Buford White, and Brenda Poppenhouse.
A celebration of life was held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at his home, 480 N. First St. Vandalia, IL 62471, on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.
