We will be sunny and mild today and tomorrow and then after that much hotter temperatures are on the way.
Today we are looking at sunny skies with a high of 85. Then, mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 60. We will be in the upper 80’s with increasing clouds on Saturday.
Meanwhile, as we end August (and end meteorological summer) we will see some very hot temperatures next week. We will get above 90 on Sunday, mid 90’s on Monday and Tuesday, and then upper 90’s on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says after a nice start to the weekend, temperatures next week will again climb into the mid to upper 90s beginning Sunday, continuing through at least Thursday. The good news is the humidity and heat indices will not be as high as earlier heat waves this summer.
