Gov. J.B. Pritzker says there’s a problem with the idea of having property tax caps in Illinois.
Republican gubernatorial nominee Darren Bailey said property taxes are out of control when he spoke at the Illinois Agricultural Legislative Roundtable on Monday.
Bailey said Illinois has a spending problem.
Pritzker said he would love to cap property taxes.
Independent candidate Collin Corbett said sky-high property taxes are crushing Illinoisans, but his opponents offer no real plan.
