I-DOT planning work on Kennedy Boulevard in 2027 and Veteran’s Avenue in 2028 in City of Vandalia

Two major highways in the City of Vandalia will see some much needed road work in the coming couple of years.

During last week’s Vandalia City Council meeting, City Administrator LaTisha Paslay told a very pleased Vandalia City Council there would be work on Kennedy Boulevard in 2027 and Veteran’s Avenue in 2028. And, Paslay says–with that–they are asking the City to do some approach work.

Speaking on our podcast “Talking About Vandalia,” Mayor Doug Knebel says he’s certainly pleased to see I-DOT making the investment on road improvements in Vandalia.
