The rain will move on this morning and then we’ll warm up and stay pretty hot and humid through this weekend.
Our forecast today says we have a chance of showers and storms this morning, but after that we’ll see gradually clearing skies for today with a high of 86. Then, partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 70.
Meanwhile, the weekend looks to be mostly dry but it will be warmer and more humid. We are looking at a slight chance of after storms Saturday with a high of 87. And, much the same forecast for Sunday with a high of 90. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says we are looking at heat index values getting above 100 potentially on Saturday through Tuesday.
