We hear again today from Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel on the subject of housing and trying to generate improvements in the housing market in the community. Speaking on our podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Knebel says one strong possibility to help with some home improvement would be a Residential TIF District.
One community that has used the Residential TIF model is the City of Marion, which Mayor Knebel says is somewhat the “Poster Child” for the idea.
