Recently, news has made it seem more and more important for the Illinois General Assembly to look at ethics reform legislation.
State Representative Harry Benton recently resigned his seat over sexual harassment allegations. And, State Representative Carrol Ammons last week pleaded not guilty in federal court to 8 total counts, including wire fraud and witness tampering. Speaking on Saturday while in Brownstown for “Bailey Fest,” Republican Gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey says it’s time for ethics reform discussions.
And, Bailey running mate Aaron Del Mar says it also brings up some other questions.
We will hear more from Bailey and Del Mar coming up tomorrow.
