(Springfield, IL) — Canada wildfires continue to impact air quality over Illinois to start the week. The Air Quality Index was at a hazardous level yesterday across much of the state. That is likely to linger throughout today with heat playing a factor, too. Tomorrow, storms are expected to break up particulates in the air, providing some air quality relief.
