(Decatur, IL) — Illinois State Police are investigating a death following a standoff in Decatur. Authorities say officers were called out Friday night on a report of an armed person barricaded inside a home the 600 block of Wyckles Road. The person was believed to be involved in an incident earlier in the day. After hearing a gunshot, officers found a person dead inside the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
