We have more storms in the forecast for this afternoon and tonight and the threat of isolated severe storms is again there for later on today and tonight.
Our forecast for today call for a chance of showers and storms this afternoon with a high of 87. Then, showers and storms likely for tonight with a low of 69.
In the weather briefing from the National Weather Service in St. Louis, it states thunderstorms are expected across the area with the best chances this afternoon through tonight. Isolated severe storms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours, mainly along and south of I-70. Damaging wind is possible with the strong storms, along with large hail. Additional heavy rain and flooding is a threat–especially off to our south.
