(Olney, IL) — A man is charged in two homicides in Olney. State police say John Jones Junior and Deborah Jones were found dead on Tuesday in separate homes in the 400 block of East Monroe Street. Investigators determined that Dylan Jones hit John Jones in the head with a sharp-edged instrument and stabbed Deborah Jones with a knife. The Richland County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged Dylan with six counts of First Degree Murder.
