(Springfield, IL) — Drivers across Illinois are being warned as state agencies are cracking down on impaired driving this holiday weekend. State Police, along with several other law enforcement agencies, are mounting a “high-visibility” campaign as millions take to the roads for Fourth of July travel. The campaign is meant to coincide with what is one of the busiest travel windows of the summer.
