(Chicago, IL) — The head of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is leaving. Governor Pritzker announced that IDNR Director Natalie Phelps Finnie is departing at the end of this month. Finnie was appointed director in January 2023. Renee Snow will serve as IDNR’s Interim Director beginning Wednesday. She has worked at the Department since 2014, most recently serving as General Counsel.
