We start off the week with some mild temperatures, but another chance at severe weather is looming in the middle of the week.
Today, we are looking at sunny skies and a high of 75. Then, mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 56.
Tuesday we will keep the mild temperatures, but we do have a chance of showers and storms.
Meanwhile, we have another threat for severe weather on Wednesday evening over the entire area. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a cold front will drop into the region Wednesday, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region. Details still need to come into focus, but the potential is there for at least a few to become severe Wednesday afternoon into the overnight hours. All hazards are possible with any severe thunderstorms that develop, including damaging winds, large hail, and a tornado.
