Vandalia Mayor says they are making progress on getting siltation work started at Vandalia Lake, knows this will be ongoing for quite a while

We hear more today from Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel on siltation work expected to begin soon at Vandalia Lake. The matter has been one that has been discussed quite heavily over Mayor Knebel’s first year in office. He says he knows it’s going slower than many would like, but he says they are making progress.

And, Mayor Knebel says they know this will likely be an ongoing process for quite some time.

The City of Vandalia is expecting to get more information on pricing in June and Mayor Knebel says they are hopeful to begin this work in 60 to 90 days on what has been deemed the cove in need of siltation work the most at this time.
