(Springfield, IL) — 38 Special will be playing a free concert at the Illinois State Fair this summer. The legendary southern rock band will take the Grandstand stage on August 17th. 38 Special has sold over 20 million albums that included hits like “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up in You,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “If I’d Been the One,” and “Second Chance.” The 2026 Illinois State Fair is being held August 13th through 23rd in Springfield.
