There are some projects that have been completed and some ongoing that have caught the attention of Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel in the downtown area.
Speaking on our podcast “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Knebel says some earlier completed work along with the the project to revitalize some downtown apartment areas by Shane Bowen has went very well and he’s been very impressed with that approval.
And, Mayor Knebel says there is another project just down the street that has also caught his attention and will bring some things to the downtown area.
As for the downtown apartment areas, this was something that has been discussed in the past as a potential benefit for the community with more of the spaces available for other developers.
