An accident involving a horse and buggy and tractor occurred in the Shobonier area on Saturday morning in Fayette County.
Fayette County Sheriff’s Office reports say the accident occurred at 9:49 am on Saturday morning at 796 N 1500 St in Shobonier.
The report say that unit one–which was a horse and buggy–was traveling on County Rd 1500 E, when they met a tractor with equipment. The report states the horse was scared and veered unit one into the ditch, where the driver tried to regain control. Unit one turned over on its side. There were 3 juvenile female passengers on unit one. One juvenile female of unit one was transported by helicopter to the hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
