The annual Lincoln Birthday Celebration will be held at the Vandalia Statehouse on Saturday afternoon–with this year having some extra to add to the event.
This year’s Lincoln Birthday Celebration is also the kick off event for Vandalia’s America’s 250th celebration. The event will be from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Vandalia Statehouse on Saturday. Fritz Klein will be there as Abraham Lincoln. There will be a program and also photograph and autograph opportunities. There will also be birthday cake and cookies and the Vandalia High School Band will be on hand for the event.
