Early voting for the March 17th primary election is now underway in most Illinois counties.
Illinois has a 40-day early voting period.
State Board of Elections Public Information Officer Matt Dietrich said there were many objections to candidates who filed last October.
Pike County Clerk/Recorder Natalie Roseberry said it is challenging to have court cases pending when ballots are already printed.
