St. Elmo City Council holds their February monthly meeting

A couple of items were discussed at Wednesday’s monthly Saint Elmo City Council meeting. The first item that the council approved was agreeing to a bid for waterline extensions from Mideastern Plumbing and Heating out of Carlyle for $ 152,500. The last item approved was the extension of Police Holiday hours to the end of March. During January, the Saint Elmo Police Department responded to 23 calls for service, had 18 officer-initiated activities, 1 agency assist, 10 building checks, 10 traffic stops, 2 citations, and issued 13 warnings.
