
After a couple of weeks below freezing, we will finally break the barrier today.
We are looking at mostly cloudy skies for today and a high of 34. Then, cloudy skies for tonight with a low of 23.
Meanwhile, there has been some online chatter about snowfall on Tuesday. We do have a chance of snow on Tuesday–mainly in the morning. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says as for the snow that accumulations of snow will be light, a dusting to around 0.2″, while a light glaze of ice is possible across isolated areas of southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois.
We will be a bit up and down with temperatures this week with highs in the upper 30’s on Wednesday and a low of 11 on Wednesday night. But, then we are expecting to warm up into the upper 30’s to lower 40’s on Thursday and Friday.
Sunrise today will be at 7:02 am and sunset will be at 5:19 pm.
