There will be no Meals on Wheels for Vandalia, Brownstown, Bluff City, and St. Elmo on January 26, 2026 due to the inclement weather in our region.

Fayette County Courthouse will be closed on Monday.

Evans Public Library will be closed on Monday

Fayette County Health Department will be closed on Monday

FAYCO will not be running routes on Monday

CEFS Central Illinois Public Transit/CEFS Effingham County Public Transportation (including ETrax) will be suspending ALL bus services for Monday January 26, 2026 due to inclement weather. This includes the counties of Effingham, Clay, Fayette, Moultrie, Montgomery, Christian & Shelby.

University of Illinois Extension Office in Fayette will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Our staff will be working remote. If you need to reach us, please call PH: 217-244-9166 and we will be able to get a message to the correct staff person.

The Fayette County Farm Bureau and Country Financial Office in Vandalia will be closed today

The United Fidelity Bank Banking Centers in St. Elmo, Cowden, and Shelbyville will be opening at 10am on Monday, January 26^th due to the inclement weather. The banking center in Herrick will be closed on Monday.
