(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois State Fair is transitioning to digital ticketing for next year. The change following a successful trial this past summer. Fairgoers will be downloading their tickets before arriving at the fairgrounds or saving tickets to their mobile phone’s e-wallet for entry. The 2026 Illinois State Fair will be held August 13th through August 23rd in Springfield.
