(Decatur, IL) — Macon County officials are waiting on confirmation as to whether or not a tornado touched down in Long Creek yesterday. The National Weather Service observed a tornado after 3 p.m. yesterday, moving east with a line of storms from Macon County into Piatt County. Homes were damaged along Jeanette Drive, Skyline Drive, and Baltimore Avenue. More than two-thousand residents reportedly lost power in Macon County.
