The wreath laying for this year’s “Wreaths Across America” will be going on this Saturday in Vandalia and Brownstown.
The project is one where wreath are put on the headstones of military veterans during the holiday season. LaTisha Paslay has been involved with the leading the program locally for the past few years and talks more about it.
And, Paslay says volunteers are needed to help lay the wreaths in two Fayette County cemeteries this Saturday.
The wreath laying will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery at 9 am on Saturday and then at Griffith Cemetery in Brownstown at 11 am on Saturday and it will be rain or shine. For more information, you can contact Paslay at 618-780-1056. We will talk more on Wreaths Across America coming up tomorrow.
