Today we will see some rain and mild temperatures.
We will see scattered showers move into the area this afternoon with a high today of 52. Then, showers for tonight with a low of 49.
Sunrise today will be at 6:49 am and sunset will be at 4:37 pm.
Meanwhile, we do have much colder air moving into the area later this week and a chance at snow coming up this weekend. We will see highs just in the upper 30’s on both Thursday and Friday of this week. There is a chance of snow on Friday night and rain and snow is likely on Saturday–although temperatures will get into the upper 30’s on Saturday.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says they are monitoring the upcoming weekend for at least some potential for wintry precipitation. They also caution the public about “doomsday” social media reports–of which there have already been multiple ones for this weekend.
