Illinois Has Erased Nearly $430M In Medical Debt

(Chicago, IL) — Illinois is touting a growing amount of medical debt relief in the state. The Illinois Medical Debt Relief Program has erased nearly 430-million-dollars in medical debt during its first year. That has benefitted more than 357-thousand Illinoisans across all 102 counties.
