The City of Vandalia has re-established its Economic Development Commission. And, two meetings in, the City’s Economic Development Director is pleased with the progress.
The second meeting of the group was held on Wednesday of this week and talked about housing. There was a nearly full committee on hand for the meeting with a guest speaker and area experts on the matter adding information. City Economic Development Director Amber Daulbaugh says she’s pleased with the start.
The EDC will now take some time off for the holidays and meet again in late January. The EDC will continue to deal with different topics and issues in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
