We are looking at multiple chances of rain throughout this work week–our final week before the holiday season is upon us.
Today we are looking at sunny skies with a high of 57. For this afternoon, we do have an elevated fire danger. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says that elevated fire danger is forecast for this afternoon–as it is due to a combination of breezy conditions, low humidity, and dry vegetation which will make fires difficult to control.
Meanwhile, tonight showers and possibly a thunderstorm are forecast over the area with a low of 44. And, then a chance of showers on Tuesday with a high of 67. We will have more rain coming into the area starting on Wednesday night and running through Friday night. We have the probability of better than 1 inch of rain, and potentially up to 2 inches, before the rain ends on Friday night.
Sunrise today is 6:42 am and sunset is at 4:41 pm.
