
A Greenville man is facing a felony charge of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer in Fayette County Court.
25 year old Nathan L. Wallace is facing the charge of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, which is a Class 2 Felony. Information in the charge states that Wallace is alleged to have made physical contact of an insulting and provoking nature to a Sheriff’s Deputy, in that he is alleged to have kicked the Deputy in the chest.
Wallace also faces a Class A Misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery for allegedly pushing a family or household member. He also faces a Class A Misdemeanor charge of Resisting a Peace Officer for allegedly refusing to obey orders and pulling away from the Deputy.
In Fayette County Court, the court found probable cause to hold Wallace for pre-trial detention. He will next appear in Fayette County Court for a Status Hearing on September 10th.
