A Celebration of Life for Alexander Dane Lawinger, born December 15, 2000, and passed away June 28, 2025, will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 1 to 5 PM at the 8th Day Venue in Vandalia, Illinois.
All friends and loved ones are invited to join in honoring Alex’s life and memory. Finger foods will be served, along with tea, lemonade, and water.
Guests are encouraged to write a letter to Alex’s son, Oliver, sharing a story or memory of Alex. These will be placed in a binder so that Oliver can come to know his dad through the eyes and hearts of those who loved him so much.
There will also be an open microphone for anyone who wishes to share a story during the event.
Come help us celebrate the life of someone who meant so much to so many.
