(Springfield, IL) — Another group of former juvenile detainees are making claims that they were sexually abused at youth centers across Illinois. Charles Graves was one of over 100 new individuals who filed complaints against the state and Cook County.
The newest plaintiffs join the 800 other victims who have filed lawsuits in the last 14 months. The complaints claim the abuse took place as far back as 1996 and as recent as 2023.
