Both State Representative Blaine Wilhour and State Senator Jason Plummer are speaking out about the state’s new budget.
Wilhour spoke right after passage to his colleagues on the Illinois House Floor.
Speaking later, Senator Plummer says he was very disappointed in the budget that was pushed through.
And, he also reacts to the fact the budget has gone up 40% during the time J.B. Pritzker has been Governor.
The budget is a total of 55.2 billion dollars and includes additional taxes on tobacco and vaping products, increased taxes on sports wagering, and changes in corporate taxes.
