The City of Vandalia continues the work to identify lead service lines in the community.
During last week’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Engineer Lee Beckman discussed the recent work by the City of Vandalia in working to identify lead service lines and mark off another bunch that they identify are not lead.
The City of Vandalia is required to develop a complete lead service line inventory for the City. As Beckman stated, the city has applied for another $40,000 grant to work to continue working their way through the list.
